CubeX Group designed and built this 42m x 18m x 6m structure to deliver reliable storage and easy access for large-scale farming operations. Located roughly 50km north of Toowoomba, the shed provides 756m² of covered space for machinery and equipment.
Project Overview
The client required a robust machinery shed with excellent accessibility and long-term durability. As a result, the design features a full side of 7m-wide, double-track, top-hung CubeX sliding doors. These allow large equipment to enter and exit quickly while providing maximum opening width for loading and unloading.
The Challenge
The shed needed to accommodate oversized agricultural machinery while withstanding Queensland’s variable weather conditions. It also had to be low-maintenance and built to last.
Our Solution
We constructed the shed using premium Australian steel and engineered it to Australian Steel Institute standards. In addition, the sliding door system was selected for its smooth operation, durability, and ability to provide wide-span access without intrusive columns. Consequently, the layout keeps the full interior clear for flexible machinery placement.
The Outcome
This machinery shed Pinelands project is a practical, high-performance solution for modern farming operations. Furthermore, the wide-span sliding doors and open floor plan ensure efficient workflow, whether for daily use or seasonal storage.
