This silver zinc structure stands out beautifully against the deep red soil of the region, combining clean design with rural practicality. Measuring 48m x 12m x 6m, the CubeX-built shed delivers durable, functional storage tailored for agricultural needs in western Queensland.
Project Overview
The shed features a 6m cantilevered awning along its entire rear length, adding valuable under-roof space without complicating the layout. This design keeps the main shed clear for machinery while providing a sheltered area for extra equipment. With its open front and rear awning setup, the structure is versatile enough for storing tractors, trailers, or bulk farm gear.
The Challenge
The client needed a storage solution that could handle various types of machinery while staying low-maintenance and weather-resistant. The structure also had to complement the rural setting and fit within existing farm operations.
Our Solution
We engineered the shed using premium Australian steel to Australian Steel Institute standards. The cantilevered awning was designed to extend usable space while allowing easy drive-through access. Additionally, the open layout enables quick manoeuvring of large equipment and keeps workflow smooth during busy periods.
The Outcome
This machinery shed St George project offers the perfect balance of strength, functionality, and visual appeal. The combination of an open-span design, large awning, and robust construction ensures it will serve the property for decades while maintaining its clean, modern look.
