This 48m x 21m x 6m open-front structure was purpose-built by CubeX to handle heavy-duty rural equipment storage. Designed for efficiency, it gives farmers quick access and flexible use, making it ideal for housing large machinery, trucks, and farm implements.
Project Overview
The shed features four 12m-wide bays, each offering wide, clear openings for easy manoeuvring. With full front access, operators can drive in directly, park up, and get back to work without unnecessary delays. This configuration keeps workflows smooth while maximising the shed’s usable space.
The Challenge
The client needed a robust farm shed that could store multiple pieces of large equipment at once, withstand Queensland’s climate, and remain easy to use day-to-day.
Our Solution
We constructed the shed from premium Australian steel and built it to Australian Steel Institute standards. The open-front design was chosen for its accessibility and ability to accommodate various equipment sizes without internal obstructions. As a result, the client can use the space for different purposes throughout the year.
The Outcome
This machinery shed Theodore is proof that simple, well-planned designs can deliver exceptional results. The combination of durability, open access, and flexible storage makes it a valuable asset for any large-scale farming operation.
